The
Lile
Piano
Trio

The Lile Piano Trio was founded in 2006. The ensemble regularly presents programs of standard chamber music repertoire as well as lesser-known works.  The trio takes its name from Lile Hall at Christ Church in Summit, NJ, where it is Ensemble-in-Residence in the Lile Hall Concert Series. Mr. Wood, Ms. Chatham and Mr. Grabois have been mentored by such eminent chamber musicians as Eugene Drucker and David Finckel of the Emerson Quartet, the Amadeus Quartet, the Takacs Quartet, Kenneth Cooper, members of the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and conductors Christopher Hogwood, Stanley Ritchie, Paul Hillier and Simon Standage.

"All three players demonstrated individual virtuosity, but far more impressive was their ensemble virtuosity. Their interpretations of both the Shostakovich and the Beethoven were both sensitive and powerful statements, worthy of the long standing ovation that they received after this fine performance."
